Nicole Feenstra

Nicole hails from the great state of Texas where she cut her teeth in theater and rodeos. After heading out to California to the BFA conservatory program at USC (not South Carolina) she excelled at the likes of Shakespeare, Chekhov and Tennessee Williams, leaving BBQ and rodeos in the dust.

Soon after graduating, she began writing both for Cartoon Network in kids animation and also for an Improv sketch group that was dubbed “SNL meets The Daily Show” where she both wrote and performed in the weekly Improv Olympic show, Big News.  

Shooting short and independent films, Nicole began writing her own work and started a series, titled, Broken Hearts Division about a cop who fights crimes of the heart. Find it at www.brokenheartsdivision.com and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Her passions are varied with scuba & water ecology and sustainability both with edible gardens and new construction being at the forefront right after entertainment and media. Her expertise in advertising and marketing allowed for her non-profit, Your Community Garden, to create an upcoming social network for edible gardens throughout the US and eventually the world. Her sustainability expertise was utilized in a video series about Net Zero Home Construction with the ABC Green Home, www.abcgreenhome.com, a home built in partnership with Southern California Edison.
